OpenSimulator Community Conference 2015 

The OpenSimulator Community Conference is an annual conference that focuses on the developer and user community creating the OpenSimulator software. Organized as a joint production by Core Developers of OpenSimuator and AvaCon, the virtual conference features presentations, workshops, keynote sessions, and social events across diverse sectors of the OpenSimulator user base.

What are the impacts of blending virtual reality, and real life with both Machine Intelligence and Human Intelligence? We are at a critical juncture in our own evolution. It is time to get out of the toy box! Steve LaVigne and Myron Curtis present a very lively, very short discussion of the future possibilities of Virtual Worlds and Virtual Reality and the impact on all of us. Throughout his life, Myron Curtis has been involved with the evolution of digital technology. He still has his dad’s TS1000 home computer, its manuals and program cassettes that he played games on as a child. He has taught computer science at Butte Community College for the past 12 years, has been building virtual worlds since 2006, and now owns Virtual Worlds Grid.

Steve LaVigne is the CFO or Secretary-Treasurer of “A Dimension Beyond, Inc.”  He has been actively involved in virtual worlds and virtual reality since 2007.
