Come visit London's Soho District from 1854 to track down the source of a cholera outbreak. This educational activity provides the experience of John Snow's efforts to prove to the medical community that water enabled the spread of disease. Contagion theory was mostly dismissed by the medical community at the time in favor of miasma theory which held that air was the mechanism of transmission. This activity is used for an Honors Biology course at Ball State University. Developed by Stephen Xootfly who teaches the course and Kim Anubis of The Magicians. They will be on hand to guide visitors through the build and answer questions.
