The OpenSimulator Community Conference is an annual conference that focuses on the developer and user community creating the OpenSimulator software. Organized as a joint production by Core Developers of OpenSimuator and AvaCon, the virtual conference features presentations, workshops, keynote sessions, and social events across diverse sectors of the OpenSimulator user base.

Self-guided tours of educator showcase booths and give-away content (in the Tulane SCS Metaverse grid between December 3rd and December 7th). Attendees need to hypergrid jump from the OSCC grid (using an OSCC avatar) into the Tulane SCS Metaverse. "In Search of... (Turnkey Education Simulation Give-Aways)" panel members' booths are available for touring (on the SCS Resource Shop island). Four additional islands in the Tulane SCS Metaverse are open for tours (including [general] economics, health economics, ethics, and marketing college-level virtual world simulations).

Public or Invitation Only: Open to AllAs a special OpenSimulator Community Conference HyperGrid Tour featuring a hands-on HyperGrid workshop and trip where attendees will have the opportunity to learn how to grid jump ‘by yourself’ - not just walking through a HyperGrid portal but coming to grips with the Map and the grid URI.
The tour will depart from the OSCC Conference Grid on Sunday at 11am Pacific with several stops on various OpenSimulator grids over a three hour period and show off how easy it is to get around by HyperGrid.
